There are some aspects in which this line drawing is better than the Winnemoller result. The shading under the chin is much more clear. The texture on the hat is better defined.
Basically, though, I don't see this as a very important comparison because Winnemoller's result isn't a line drawing. You might want to ponder why this is a worthwhile comparison in the first place (and maybe that will give you some insight into how to frame the response).
To me, the second one is probably best.
