Another comparison with two thresholds (128, 224)

Very close to their quality now and sometimes it looks better. Next to introduce smoothing.

    How did you pick these thresholds and how are they used?

    The results are impressive. The drawback seems to be in the very smooth areas, which are in some ways the easier case.
