Tried:
1. randomly add a curve each time and build the tessellation.
2. after having a distribution, each place builds two curves and create a tessellation.
3. Create the first curve in a region and calculate the distance map. Then grow the next curve at the maximum distance value.
I am going to test some natural patterns:
fish scales, wings, flowers, leaves.
Then:
rivers, hair, weeds, barks.
