Introducing texture as a feature field

It is not easy to have an interesting merging.It depends on both image contents.

  1. That last one is very interesting.

    It looks to me as if the main problem is uncoordinated structure in the feature image. If the feature image is a texture with fine-scale structure, you will be able to avoid this problem. The strangest parts are things like the eyes of the cat, where we can recognize the large-scale structure and realize that it has nothing to do with the primary image.
